Starting the Journey of Creating a Product Manager Digital Twin

I've been working as a PM for quite a while now, and over the years, I've collected a bunch of experience, ideas, and approaches that actually worked in practice. Some better than others, you know how it goes. I automated certain tasks to make my life easier. When LLMs emerged, I realized I could finally consolidate all this experience into one cohesive product that reflects how I envision project management should work.

Here's the thing that really gets to me though - the daily PM grind is honestly frustrating as hell. You spend tons of time processing information from meetings, chats, docs, discussions... then you gotta systematize it all, turn it into readable documents, and keep everything maintained. On top of that, people don't really like reading documentation or diving into the nitty-gritty details - they just want straight answers: when, how much, why, what for.

I mean, sure, that's part of being a PM - keeping all those communications under control. But here's the kicker: a PM's real value should be creating added value, not just fighting chaos. When you're drowning in operational stuff, it's incredibly frustrating. That's the part I decided to offload to my solution.

I built GetStory, which right now is basically a straightforward generator for different types of project documentation - everything from user stories to system requirements. I picked this set of tasks to start with because, honestly, I do this stuff almost daily at my regular job, and constantly setting up context, format, and other requirements in ChatGPT gets a bit tedious after a while.

I just launched this app publicly today, and my plan is to evolve it into a digital PM twin that can handle not just the obvious routine stuff like creating developer tasks, but also complex challenges around systematizing scattered information, prioritization, risk assessment, and team coordination. I'm baking in parts of well-known product management and systems engineering methodologies. Through integrations with corporate messengers, task trackers, and other tools, I'll be adding more sophisticated business processes to the product.
